A scalable GxP-compliant solution for large-scale proteomics studies
BiognoSYS AG identified the business need for a new LIMS system. iVention’s iLES was implemented in a fully virtual setting in the midst of the 2020 pandemic in 7 months from the first phone call. New features were released whenever the configuration of a certain workflow was completed.
BiognoSYS AG is a Swiss biotechnology company founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the laboratory of proteomics pioneer Ruedi Aebersold at ETH Zurich. BiognoSYS AG offers next-generation proteomics services and products and operates a large mass spectrometry facility in Schlieren, outside of Zürich.
Scalable and flexible
With growing numbers of samples from large-scale proteomics studies and the implementation of a GxP quality system, a scalable and flexible LIMS solution became indispensable. When many countries went to a lockdown in spring 2020, BiognoSYS AG embarked on the adventure of setting up a new LIMS system.
